My profession
as an electrical engineer does not prevent me to have a weakness
for architectural designs. The transformation of the environment
by man has always fascinated me.
However, for
this web site, 2 works of art are of primary interest to me. Both
are in the capital. First, the old style " "gingerbread
" houses because of their fast disappearing; second, the newly
renovated public squares, a sign that Port-au-Prince is going under
major reconstruction. I have chosen these two because giving them
the importance they deserve represent to me a solid base for exploiting
effectively and efficiently all our resources in order to develop
successfully our tourism industry… These houses and these public
squares that you walk by daily will probably seem different or even
unknown; well they are in Port-au-Prince, right in midtown.
Through my camera,
you will discover these masterpieces which are truly ours and really
a feast for the eyes…
